Meet our sander Kevin, who rides a 6'3" x 18 1/2" x 2 3/8 " Summer Sting.
After having the leash and fin fittings put in the surfboard it has a coat of sanding resin applied in our unique way and is left overnight to hardened ready to be sanded smooth next day. We do not believe in sanding the full surfboard all over unless it is a gloss polish finish and we do not use any sort of lacquer spray to finish our surfboards (leave that to the short cutters!). They are all resin finished, which we believe gives a much better weight to strength ratio and it looks and feels far superior.
