The Beach Beat 'snapper' is a modern, quad, fish design with a twist.
For starters the quad fins are clustered very closely together, giving the board the relaxed and loose feel of a twin fin but with a little extra bite and forward drive from the quad set up. The fins are also positioned on top of well defined bonzer style concaves which keep the wide swallow tail loose and lively. The combination of bottom contours and clustered quad fins give the 'Snapper' fantastic forward drive for skating through waves with those fatter week sections.
Wave conditions and surfer abilities
Intermediate to advanced riders and surfs great in anything from 1 to 6 feet (but not to hollow and critical).

Flat rocker and V or spiral V bottom for having fun in those smaller days but this Greg Clough design will hold in and stand it's ground in better waves. Great for catching waves early and easily and very responsive through critical turns. The Beach Beat 'Rocket' comes with a thruster fin plug set up and can be surfed as a thruster, 2 1/2 fin or twin fin.

The 'Menace' is a great shortboard for those surfers who would like an alternative to a wafer thin performance board without sacrificing performance and manoeuvrability. It comes with 5 fin plugs so you can ride it as a thruster or quad (thats two boards for the price of one). It's an ideal surfboard for all wave types and surfer abilities.
This Beach Beat model has a low entry rocker and full planshape which combined with extra volume through the whole board and a boxier rail means it can be surfed smaller than your usual shortboard but still catch waves and paddle with ease. This fast and manoeuvrable board is a wave catching "Menace" and may not make you any new friends in the line up.
Look out for the new 'Menace Pro' coming in 2012.
